Base frame

The access floor panels stand on base frames with ribbed flats. Troublesome additional pedestals in areas with a large number of cable installations therefore become superfluous. The panels can be opened unhindered right up to the ­cabinet, which makes installation easier. The height-adjustable pedestals are attached with studs to the under-floor. The distances between pedestals depend on the size and weight of the distributor cabinet. The cross-sections of square-cut steel profiles are arranged at intervals of approx. 1000 mm or in accordance with the cabinet set-up.

The ribbed flats of the base frame which has been welded together measures 50/40/22/2 mm and the square-cut steel pipe 40/40/2 mm. The supports made of U-profiles welded to the frame stand on a foot support with a M 20 threaded bolt, which is friction-locked to the under-floor with studs.
The bearing capacity of the base frame depends on the bearing capacity of the access floor. With a frame width of 500 to 800 mm this totals 1500 kg per linear metre of base frame. By adjusting the frame construction and possibly also that of the access floors, the loads can be increased, e.g. for high voltage plants. We are happy to advise you further.

All the profile parts are sprayed with black rust protection paint, the foot support with threaded bolt are Promat zinc-coated.

The square-cut steel pipe of the socle frame lies directly on the C-profiles of the Type 8 substructure and is attached with brackets and screws. The profiles of the substructure are adjusted to the measurement of the electrical cabinet in such a way that the cables can be directed into the cabinet unimpeded. The panels can be opened right up to the cabinet without any problems, which makes installation easier. The cross-sections are arranged at intervals of approx. 1000 mm or in accordance with the cabinet set-up.

The socle frames consist of 40/40/2 mm square-cut steel pipes, which have been welded together. Depending on ­requirements, profiles of 50/50/2 mm or 60/50/2 mm are also possible.
The load bearing capacity of the base frame depends on the load bearing capacity of the substructure.
